I am a husband, a father, and a local church pastor.
I graduated with a degree in History from Cal Poly Pomona and a Masters of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology.
I was born into the church, married the little girl I met at church as a little boy, and we now parent three children who have also been born into the church.
Life and church have been intricately interwoven together, for as long as I can remember.
This has made me a little blind to some of the issues in the church. But this also simultaneously honed my ability to lovingly critique the church as a true "insider" who has witnessed its inner workings for all its gore and glory.
I find the Christian faith nuanced, shockingly practical, and wildly beautiful just like Jesus, the church's Savior.
I enjoy speaking, writing, strategizing, vision casting, and mobilizing teams.
I also enjoy early mornings, reading, hanging with my wife, and any circumstance where the kids are napping.
